Position:                    Customer Service Associate (CSA)

Location:                   Duncan

Status:                       Full Time

Position Description:

This position is responsible for answering customer enquires and following up appropriately.  May conduct post follow up calls to ensure customers are happy with the service provided.  Assist customers regarding accounts, service and promotion inquiries and prepare and review statements for mail out. Responsible for the setup of all new water accounts and tracking commissions. Back-up for the receptionist position and processing of routes.  Assisting collections of accounts. 

Duties and Responsibilities:    

Customer Service

  • Assist customers with account inquiries, complaints, and orders.  Handles account reconciliations and adjustments.  Markets products to potential customers and existing customers.

Dispatch

  • Dispatches/pages daily orders and releases calls to drivers authorized by the credit department.

Account Services

  • Responsible for opening new accounts, arranging cooler/water setups and tracking commissions for all new accounts.

Processing

  • Process and balance the POS machine for the credit cards billed at the end of every month.  Writing up daily deposits and delivering to the bank.  Process drivers batches and assist with month end closing procedures.

Assisting Collections

  • Assist with collection of overdue accounts by reviewing and contacting accounts with overdue balance in the 60-120 days for routed customers.

Back-up Reception Coverage

  • Greet walk in customers, process payments on account and assist with any inquiries or concerns.   Reconcile cash at the end of the day, preparation of cash counter payment batches and arrange for courier service. Balancing the POS machine.

Back-up & Water Route Maintenance

  • Back-up/assist Administration Supervisor for download routes from handhelds to Route Manager and balance payments received; review handheld entries to driver delivery sheets; upload driver routes on Route Manager for the next delivery day and print route sheets.

·         Ability to excel in a team environment

 Education and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Education

  • 1 yr. experience in an administrative capacity

  • Secondary education in business administration an asset

Position:                      Water Production

Location:                     Duncan

Status:                         Full Time

 Position Summary:

The position will be responsible for the production, bottling and organization of water on skids.  This includes ensuring water is produced in a manner that meets the high standards set out by Columbia ice.  Cleaning and sanitization of coolers and containers for redistribution will be required.  Operation of forklift to transfer water skids on to trucks is required. 

Duties and Responsibilities:    

 Water Production

  • Prepare bottle room and equipment, monitor chemicals and water quality throughout production.  Organize water inventory on skids based on bottling dates.  Perform daily, weekly and monthly water samples.  Post-production clean up.

 Cleaning & Inventory

  • Dismantling, fixing, labeling and sanitizing of water coolers and water jugs for redistribution.  General clean up and organization of water plant.  Perform inventory count on all water and water products at month end.

 Qualifications:

·         Ability to lift 50 lb water jugs consistently on a day to day basis

·         High attention to detail and follow through

·         A commitment to excellent customer service

·         Ability to drive a fork lift (training provided)

 Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 Education
  • Experience driving a fork lift an asset
  • Class 5 BC driver’s license with air an asset
